On the 27th of February, the Day World of NGOS is, above all, an opportunity to recognize something we sometimes take for granted: the essential role that the Third Sector of Social Action plays in our society.

NGOS accompany, defend rights, create opportunities and support links where they are needed most. In a social context complex, marked by tensions and polarization, the VII Barometer of the Third Sector of Social Action confirms that the sector not only maintains their commitment, but rather reinforces its role as a space of cohesion, participation and construction of citizenship.

Away from fragmented, the Third Sector acts as a point of union. As a guarantee that the social welfare and equity continue to be in the center.

If there is something that characterizes the Third Sector is human capital. People engaged who choose to work in it for consistency, values and sense of purpose. This shared identity is one of its greatest strengths.

From our Observatory for the Sustainability of the Social Action (BEARS), we have discussed recently how it attracts, increase loyalty and develops the talent in the sector. The study confirms that there is a strong cohesion of identity and a high commitment to the social mission.

The so-called salary emotional (work with impact, autonomy, and sense continues to be a central element of permanence. At the same time, the data we provide clear opportunities for improvement as you go further in feedback systems more structured, strengthen the spaces of care and well-being, and further professionalizing internal processes will contribute to further strengthen the sector.

The good news is that the Third Sector has a solid base: teams are a committed, strong sense of belonging and a work environment that, in general terms, it is positively valued. Consolidate and enhance these strengths is the next step.

The social sustainability is not an individual goal; it is a shared project.

The NGOS pursue an end goal where companies, public administrations and citizens also play a critical role. When public policies generate stability and collaboration, when companies integrate social impact on your strategy and when citizens actively participates, the social fabric is strengthened.

The experience shows that partnerships multiply the impact. The collaboration creates innovation and confidence builds resilience.

In a world facing challenges of social, economic and environmental complex, added to 2026 is the International Year of the Volunteer, the Third Sector is an actor must. And their processing capacity grows when all the social actors we work in network.

On this World Day of NGOS, from Fundación Hazloposible we want to celebrate the role of the Third Sector and, at the same time, invite you to continue moving forward together.

Strengthen the internal care sector, continue to bet for the professionalism and transparency, strengthen strategic alliances with companies and authorities, and to promote citizen participation are steps that bring us closer to a common future: a society that is more just, cohesive, and sustainable.

Today is a day to recognize the constructed and reaffirm a shared commitment.

Because when the Third Sector is stronger, it strengthens the society. The sustainable future that we seek is not so far away. It is a collective construction that is already underway.
